Terms of Service

Last updated: April 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Hosttello. By signing up, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Hosttello is a software-as-a-service platform for managing hostels, including booking management, OTA synchronization, WhatsApp automation, guest communications, and reviews.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password and for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscription and Billing

Hosttello offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, you must choose a paid plan (Starter, Pro, or Premium) to continue using the service. Billing is processed through Paddle.

Subscriptions are month-to-month or annual. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard. After cancellation, your account remains read-only for 30 days, after which data is permanently deleted.

Paid plans have usage limits (beds, messages, properties). Exceeding limits may block certain operations until you upgrade.

4. Refunds

Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual subscriptions are refundable on a pro-rata basis within the first 30 days. Contact billing@hosttello.com for refund requests.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Your Content and Data

You retain all rights to the data you enter into Hosttello (guest info, bookings, messages, settings). We do not claim ownership of your data.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

You are responsible for obtaining consent from your guests to store their personal information in Hosttello, as required by applicable privacy laws.

7. WhatsApp and Third-Party Integrations

Hosttello integrates with Meta's WhatsApp Business API, Airbnb, Booking.com, Hostelworld, and other third-party services. Your use of these integrations is also subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for changes, outages, or policy changes in third-party platforms.

8. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or business interruption caused by third-party outages.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hosttello's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.

10. Termination

You can terminate your account at any time from your dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, upon notice.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hosttello is registered. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of that jurisdiction.
